Our Mission

We built zipBoard to make collaboration in the digital world easier. While spreadsheets are great, we believe visual details require an easier way to be discussed. Just the way you would do it in the real world, take a pen and markup to explain what you want changed. We believe it should be the same in the digital world, whether you are building a website, a course, a document, or a video. That’s why we have created an easier way to markup and annotate on any kind of digital asset, making it easy for creators to collaborate – just like they would in the real world. We want to make it easy for creators to collaborate every day, without having to dial in a meeting, or make long lists on spreadsheets.

Our Story

As a QA outsourcing partner for teams, Bhavya noticed constant friction in collaborating on visual details. The remotely distributed teams, and time zone differences – it was getting harder and harder to keep up with the discussions on building products.

From this frustration, zipBoard was born. It was built to markup and collaborate directly on digital documents and content, without having to use multiple tools to share feedback and then track all comments in spreadsheets.

Today, zipBoard empowers teams of all sizes around the world to collaborate directly on what they are building- whether it is a web page, a course, videos, images or documents..
