I’m stuck! How do I contact zipBoard?

Can I use zipBoard with any browser?

Okay, yes and no. The application itself can be accessed using any browser on any device. You can create new projects, check existing ones, and read your feeds. You can manage your tasks, upload/download your tasks and files, review existing boards or files and add/remove URLs or collaborators for your projects.

The only limitation at the moment is the usage of zBreviewBoard extension. It lets you create new boards and for now it's available on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari browsers i.e. we support all major browsers but not all.

But for best experience we would suggest you use the Chrome browser.

What kind of projects/files can I upload to zipBoard?

You can add a website URL, or upload a ZIP file, a PDF document, and images in your zipBoard project.
You can choose to add a web link, as long as it is accessible to your collaborators. The ZIP file should have valid SCORM data or an HTML index file at the root level. Images cannot be uploaded in ZIP files currently.
For images, JEPG and PNG are acceptable formats.

Can I upload multiple images?

Yes, you can upload multiple images by selecting them in the file browser. However, images cannot be added as a zipped file currently.

I uploaded a file, but it’s stuck. What should I do?

Oh, snap! This should not have happened, but if you are stuck at uploading your zip file, then firstly, please ensure that the zip file is not corrupted i.e. it unzips well in you machine. If the zip file is all okay then you should immediately contact our support team at support@zipboard.co to help you get out of the mess.

What are the upload limits?

With every project, you get 250MB of disk space. The space is shared across your projects and is available as a pool, so if you buy 10 projects, you have 2.5GB of disk space. Enterprise accounts come with 25 GB disk space by default.

What authoring tools does zipboard support?

For eLearning projects, zipBoard supports projects created using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adapt Learning, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Presenter, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Presenter, iSpring and Lectora. If you have created a valid SCORM project or a hosted project from any other tool, zipBoard should have no problem viewing it. Accessing private windows

For accessing Reviewboard in incognito mode you simply need to check the option allow in incognito for the zipboard extensions. Enabling working of zipBoard chrome extensions in incognito mode

Importing Data to zipBoard

zipBoard doesn't have a generic import tool, but you have 2 options for bringing your data into zipBoard. You can either add a URL or upload a zip file containing html/SCORM files. This option is available in the review tab. Add URL or upload a zip file.

JPEG and PNG file upload is also supported. You can upload image files directly from the reviewboard.

Exporting Data from zipBoard

Data can be exported from zipBoard by either downloading or integrating with third party apps. For more information about integrations, read here.The following data can be downloaded from zipBoard

  1. All tasks in a project in a CSV format. You can either download all tasks from the download button in the “Task manager” tab or do a custom download based on the filters selected in the table.

How secure is my data with zipBoard?

At zipBoard, we take your data privacy and security very seriously. We are hosted in a fully-redundant data center of tier-1 hosting provider in North America. All data is encrypted and transmitted via an SSL connection.We'll retain information you store on our Services for as long as we need it to provide you the Services. If you delete your account, we'll also delete this information. But please note: (1) there might be some latency in deleting this information from our servers and back-up storage; and (2) we may retain this information, if necessary, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Does zipBoard backup data in case of emergency?

Yes, of course we do. We understand what data means to our customers, so an automatic data backup is done by zipBoard regularly.

I cannot play my SCORM file with zipBoard? What can be the issue?

Firstly try playing your SCORM directly in the browser, if it’s all well in the browser then please check your SCORM folder hierarchy for the start file. Make sure that the start file for your SCORM should exist in the top level folder only(not inside any subfolder); if not then we won’t be able to play such file.

I just uploaded a captivate SCORM file, but could not access it using zipBoard. What can be the issue?

For captivate files, please make sure that reporting feature is turned off for your SCORM package. If the reporting feature is on please turn it off, then upload the new SCORM file to zipBoard, It should work fine. If this is not the case then you can contact us at support@zipboard.co

My mails are not delivered? What to do?

This would happen if your mail server is bouncing zipBoard mails.To avoid that contact your IT department to whitelist mails from zipBoard domain.
