Open any Project and you’ll see the “Tasks” tab on the left menu bar. Click on it and it will take you to the Task Manager. Here, you can see and edit all the tasks that have already been created in that Project.
Start a review session and when in Play mode, take screenshots of pages where you want to add new tasks. Then once you’re in Review mode, make the necessary annotations and add comments. When adding comments, you can choose to add them as tasks instead. Once you add a task, a dialog box will show up. Here, you can edit the task - change it’s priority, type, and status. You can also add a description to the task.
Once you’re in Review mode, make the necessary annotations and add comments or directly add comment using comment option. While adding comments, you have to make sure that the "Add as task" option is unchecked .
A task is an actionable item. It’s usually an issue that needs to be resolved, and it can be assigned to a collaborator. On the other hand, a comment is exactly what the name says. If you want to leave a remark or talk to other collaborators, you use a comment. If you want a specific issue to be fixed, you use a task.
Go to the Task Manager and click on “Download CSV”. Yep, that simple.
You can only delete tasks that have been created by you, unless you have managerial access to the Project. Only owners/managers have the permission to do that.
Click on the “pencil” icon on the task, either on the Review Board or on the Task Manager. You will see a dialog box open up. Here, you can make the necessary edits to the task. Change it’s priority, type, and status with toggleable switches. You can also add a description to the task and assign it to a collaborator.
You can mark the task as resolved from the edit task dialogue box by clicking on the current status. Here you can select the resolved status from the dropdown.
Click on the “pencil” icon on the task, either on the Review Board or on the Task Manager. You will see a dialog box open up. You’ll see various editable options on the left side. Click on “Unassigned”, and a drop down of all available Collaborators will open up. Assign the task to whomever you want.
You can add tags at any level to keep your projects, board or tasks trackable and organized. For adding tags you simply have to type the tag name or simply select it from the autosuggest list. If you wish to categorize your projects based on certain keywords you can use tags for projects.
For boards and tasks too you can add tags.
